Starting a blog

Once upon a time I had a blog or two and I really enjoyed it (although if I found it now it would probably be quite embarrassing, I think I talked very passionately about Moshi Monsters) so I was inspired to start a new one.
I think it's highly unlikely that anyone will actually read my blog but that doesn't really matter. I'm going to write it for me and to organise my thoughts and probably vent about stuff but if anyone is here reading this that would be really great. I honestly have no idea what I'm actually going to blog about but I'm sure I will eventually find a theme. Maybe cats. I have a whole lot of cats. And I'm kind of obsessed with make up at the moment so that is a possibility although I'm not sure I'm enough of an expert to actually do that. Or an expert at all. I'm actually quite rubbish at it, to tell you the truth.

I think it would be reasonable at this point to list 10 random facts about me and my life just so this blog is a bit more personal.

  1. My name is Eleanor
  2. I am 15 years old - I will be 16 on the 8th of September this year
  3. I am British, I was born in London (vaguely)
  4. I have 4 cats named Peggy, Lily, Domino and Cinders
  5. I live with my parents and my two younger brothers
  6. About a year ago I won a fish at a fair and completely surprised my mum by announcing that I had acquired a new pet. His (although it could easily be a girl) name is Fez, after the hat that the Doctor thinks is cool. It was my friend's idea.
  7. I go to an all girl's school
  8. I love to read although I hardly have any time to any more.
  9. My favourite author is John Green, I am currently rereading the Fault in Our Stars in preparation for the movie
  10. I am definitely a girly girl and love all things pink.
So, my non-existent readers, that is all for now. I wonder if this will be my only post. It might be. I'm not very consistent. I hope not though, this was quite nice to do.
